Happy New Year Viper Families! Starting 2025 off strong:

 

The U10s had an amazing month tallying 5 wins and only 1 loss! 

 

Our U12 Red team had a hard fought back-and-forth game vs the Wolfpack. Goals were scored by Brooke Barton (first period) and Maggie Smotherman (second period). Vipers didn’t give up and almost tied it up in the final seconds of the game.

 

The U12 White team had an impressive win over #1 team Casco Bay. The mid-season slump is over! We are extremely proud of the girls digging out of our slump and pulling it back together even stronger than before. We were able to take down the number one team with hard work and team camaraderie.

 

After losing 6-0 to the Spitfires last month, the U12 Blue team got their first win of the winter season against them 5-0! Violet Cerretani played great in net, earning the shutout! Passing was excellent all game with very unselfish play. Including a great goal with quick passing up the ice from Lauren Caiazzo, to Charlotte Wooster, who set up Sienna Maglio for a great goal! Wooster set up Maglio for another goal later in the game. Other scorers included Mallory McDermott, Isla Doherty, and Wooster with an assist from Sandy Hancock-McGrath.

 

U13 Red had a close win against the NE Wildcats, and a 2-0 win vs the Hartford Jr Wolfpack!

 

The U13 White team went undefeated in the month of January with 4 wins and 1 tie! Great work girls!

 

U14 Red had a great win vs Charles River Blazers, and came away with the shutout!

 

After shaking off the rust in period one the U14 White team played excellent for the remainder of the weekend. Kerry Friesz tied it up in the second period, Ally Morrison got the game-winner and Julia Black with an empty net dagger finished off the Wizards. Lily Lovett had 2 helpers. Excellent game by the D and Joy Tremblay. In game two our Vipers had lots of control and puck movement throughout the entire game. Fueled by a hat trick (3) by our defensemen Paige Jolly, goals by Maddie Akashian, Natasha Arey, and an awesome Sydney Winkles first Viper goal, the team left NH with the W. 2 wins on the weekend. Nice to get back at it.
